    JetCounsel offers several different membership plans, all priced differently. To enroll in a JetCounsel membership, you must first post a question on the site. Once you've posted a question, you will have the opportunity to enroll into a Basic, Plus or Premium membership plan. The membership plans are optional and customers can still receive answers without enrolling in a plan.

  • Your initial question deposit (typically $5) is separate from your membership fee. If you already entered your credit card information and if your Expert has responded to you, then your deposit has been processed. Your deposit remains in your JetCounsel account until you give your Expert a positive rating. You will be charged for the membership at the end of the free trial period.

    Please note, the membership plan is optional and you can still pay to receive an answer to one question, without enrolling into a membership.

  • There are several reasons why you might be asked to pay for your question, although you are enrolled in a membership. Some of the reasons include but are not limited to:

    • You are not logged into your account. Please log in and try posting your questions again.
    • You are enrolled in a 5 questions per month plan and have already asked 5 questions during your billing period.
    • The Expert offered you an Additional Service such as a phone call, secure remote assistance, and document preparation.

    Received a response but not the answer you were looking for? Ask follow-up questions or tell your current Expert you’d like to request another Expert. He/she will then make your question available to other Experts.

  • We'll automatically notify you via email.

    If you'd like to receive SMS text message alerts, click My Account at the top of the page. On the Edit Settings page, enter your phone number and check the box next to Phone notifications.     1. On your question page, look below the reply box at the bottom of the page for a link that says +ADD FILES. Click this link.
    2. A pop-up window will open. Locate the file on your computer, click it once, then click Open.
    3. A link representing your photo or file should now appear below the reply box on your question page. Insert text in the reply box and click the Send button to send your photo or file to the Expert.
    4. To send a photo or file, it must be 5MB or less and in one of the following formats: GIF, PNG, JPEG, ZIP, RAR, PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT, DOCX, XLSX, SWF, FLV, WMV. If your photo or file is larger than 5MB, please resize it or send it to customer support at upload@JetCounsel.com.

  • We cannot delete a question from the site, but we can remove personal information posted to your question. If there is personal information in your question that you would like removed, you can give us a call or send us an email by clicking on the Email, Phone options to the left. If you're sending an email, be sure to include a link to your question and the personal information you want removed. JustAnswer is a public forum and questions and answers on the site are not confidential. Users of the site can remain anonymous to the public by using an anonymous username and not including their name, etc. in their questions.

  • This usually means that you’re not signed in. To see if you’re signed in, look in the upper right hand corner of the page for My Account. If My Account is not there, you should see an option to Sign In. Simply sign in and go back to your question to send your Expert a reply.

    2. Open the iPhone’s camera roll and tap to view the photo you want to send.
    3. In the lower right corner, tap the share button (it looks like a box with an arrow pointing up), then choose “Mail.”
    4. A new email message will open with the photo attached. Enter your email address in the “To” field, then click send.
    5. Using your computer, open the email you just sent yourself and save it to your photos folder.
    6. Once you have your photo, click HERE to see how to upload your photo to your question.
      From Android
    1. First, make sure your Android phone is connected to the Internet through either Wi-Fi or your cellular network
    2. Open the email application or an email app of your choice
    3. Click compose to create email
    4. Locate the attach button, which looks like a paper clip. Select “Images” when asked what you want to attach.
    5. You may be prompted to select an application in which to find Images. Select “Gallery” if you are unsure which imaging application you use (It is possible to set default applications for images, so you may have to complete this step).
    6. Search for and select the photo.
    7. Enter your email address in the message, then click send.
    8. Check your email from a computer to retrieve your photo.

    1. Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB connector cord.

    3. Wait while the pictures upload to your computer.

    1. Connect your Android phone to your computer using the USB connector cord.
    2. Once your phone is connected, an auto-play pop-up will appear. Select “Open device to view files using windows explorer.” Make sure your phone is unlocked to view files.
    3. Next, click “phone”; then double-click the “DCIM” folder; then double-click “Camera” to view your images.
    4. Select the photo(s) you’d like to access and copy them by pressing “Ctrl+C” on the keyboard while they are highlighted.
    5. Go to your desktop and paste the photos by pressing “Ctrl+V” on the keyboard.

Rating answers/Experts

  • You can give your rating by selecting one of the five stars located on the top right of the question page. Giving a positive rating compensates the Expert for their time with you. Your Expert will not be paid until you rate the answer. If the stars are grayed out or you cannot click on the stars to rate your experience, reply to your Expert and let them know so they can adjust your question and allow you to rate.

  • Once the Expert provides an answer to your question, you will have the opportunity to rate it. Your Expert will not be paid until you rate the answer.

    If you are not satisfied with your answer, ask the Expert for clarification so that they may improve their response. If you would prefer a different Expert to answer your question, please email us and we’ll find you another Expert.

  • You can still continue the conversation even after rating your answer.

    If you rated positively by mistake but were not satisfied, our customer support team can find a new Expert to assist you. Just email or call us to let us know.

  • Expert Services are outside of JetCounsel's standard question-and-answer platform. As such, the Experts can offer you services outside of an online question-an-answer such as a live phone call or document preparation. Because Expert Services are conducted off the website and require more than an online question-and-answer, the additional charge is compensated to the Expert for their additional time helping you.

  • Sometimes an online answer is just not enough. As such, you can receive additional help from the Experts on JetCounsel. Your current Expert can help you achieve a more complete solution with a variety of services such as but not limited to a live phone call, live video call, document preparation and more!

    Expert Services are additional services outside of JetCounsel's standard question-and-answer platform. They may be conducted off the website (either by phone, email, remote desktop or any other third-party tool) but remain for general informational services only.

    To accept the Additional Service your Expert offered you, simply click the Accept this Offer button in orange. If your Expert hasn't offered you an Additional Service, you can request one by clicking on the View Expert Services button under your question box to get started.

  • After posting your question, if you would like to request an Expert Service, click on "View Expert Services" beneath the question box. By clicking on View Expert Services, you will have the opportunity to let your Expert know what type of service you're interested in, such as a live phone call, live video call, document preparation and more. After selecting the service, click the orange button that says Request Services. By requesting a service, your Expert will be notified and will have the opportunity to send you an offer.

  • Now that you've accepted a phone call, review the helpful tips below to make sure you get the most out of your call.

    1. Provide the Expert with your phone number so they can call you. Look for the private message box to share your phone number.
    2. Look for a response from the Expert to see when they're available. Most of the time you'll receive a call within minutes. If you haven't received a call yet, send a reply to your Expert letting them know you're ready.
    3. If the current Expert helping you says they are not available to call you, no need to worry. We'll find another Expert to call you, usually in 60 minutes or less.

    • Membership Benefits: Ask verified Experts as many questions as you would like in any category during the length of your membership, subject to the Fair Use Policy (described below).
    • Payment Terms: By signing up for a membership, you are authorizing JetCounsel to automatically charge a membership fee each month or year you are enrolled in a membership program to the payment source that you provide to JetCounsel (e.g. credit card, PayPal account). The monthly or yearly membership fee is refundable until the end of the membership period.
    • JetCounsel offers several different membership plans, all priced differently. To enroll in a JetCounsel membership, you must first post a question to the site. Once you've posted a question, you will have the opportunity to enroll into a Basic, Plus or Premium membership plan.
    • Your Right to Cancel or Sign Up for a New Membership: You have the right to cancel at any time. To cancel, when you are logged into your JetCounsel account, click on My Account on the top right of the page.   • You will be charged for your initial question prior to taking the free trial. If you do not cancel before the 7-day free trial period ends, you will be charged your monthly membership fee on the eighth day.

    Note: the membership plan is optional and you can still pay per question, without enrolling in a membership.

  • There are several reasons why you might be asked to pay for your question, although you are enrolled in a membership. Some of the reasons include but are not limited to:

    • You are not logged into your account. Please log in and try posting your questions again.
    • You are enrolled in a 5 questions per month plan and have already asked 5 questions during your billing period.
    • The Expert offered you an Additional Service such as a phone call, secure remote assistance, and document preparation.
    • Your payment failed. Update your payment information here.
    • You are not enrolled in a membership.

  • Your initial question deposit (typically $5) is separate from your membership fee. If you already entered your credit card information and if your Expert has responded to you, then your deposit has been processed. Your deposit remains in your JetCounsel account until you give your Expert a positive rating. You will be charged for the membership at the end of the free trial period.

    Please note, the membership plan is optional and you can still pay to receive an answer to one question, without enrolling into a membership.

  • You may enroll by clicking the "Start My Free Trial" button located on the My Questions page.

    If you do not see an offer to start a free trial, it's likely that you already accepted and cancelled your membership in the past. In that case, please contact Customer Care.

  • No, you are not required to accept the 7-day free trial or monthly membership.

    To see if you are enrolled in the JetCounsel membership plan, log in and click My Account at the top of the page. If the Membership option is present, you ARE enrolled in a membership.

  • You can ask questions in any of the categories below.

    Please Note: If you are signed up on the category specific membership, then you are only allowed to ask questions in the category specified by your plan.

7-day free trial

  • The free trial lasts for 7 days. If you do not cancel, on the 8th day your service will continue to avoid disruption. Remember that you can cancel your membership at any time.

    NOTE: The membership is not retroactive which means that any questions posted before you became a member are not free of charge.

  • During your 7-day free trial, you are not billed for your membership. When the free trial ends, you are billed for your first membership payment. Your membership will automatically renew at the beginning of each membership period (usually each month).

When will charges occur?

  • When asking a question on JetCounsel, we will price your question based on the urgency and level of difficulty and category (legal, medical, auto etc.) Payments range from $15-$90. Once your question is posted, we will be charging you an initial $5 payment. Your remaining balance will be charged once an Expert responds to your question. (Paypal customers pay the full amount when the question is posted.)

    If you started your free 7-day membership trial you will only be charged the membership fee on the 8th day if you did not cancel within the first 7 days. We stand behind our 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back.

Payments for questions

  • You will be charged an initial $5 when you submit your question and payment information. You will be charged your remaining balance once the Expert responds to your question.

    Note: If you used Paypal as payment, you will be charged the full amount when you submit your question.

  • A $5 good faith deposit is to book your time with the Expert. You will be charged the remainder of the payment when an Expert responds to your question. As part of our 100% satisfaction guarantee, your payment including the $5 deposit is fully refundable if you are not satisfied with your answer.

    Note: If you used Paypal as payment, you will be charged the full amount when you submit your question.

  • You can review your recent questions by clicking on My Questions at the top of the page. You can also view your questions and the status of your orders within the past 90 days on the Order History under My Account.

    If you do not see My Questions in the top corner of the page you are not signed into your account. Simply sign in and follow the instructions above.

  • We accept all major credit cards and debit cards, including prepaid gift cards displaying a credit card logo. We also accept PayPal.

  • Payments can range from $15-$90 depending on the urgency, level of detail of your question and category (legal, medical, auto etc...).

  • We're sorry to hear you're having issues processing your payment. There are a few reasons payments may be declined. Please review the following issues to see if any apply:

    1. The credit card number, expiration date, or security code has been entered incorrectly. Try re-entering the information as it is shown on your card.
    2. The credit card has expired. Ensure that the card information tied to your account is up-to-date and accurate.
    3. The credit card account has insufficient funds. Call the toll-free number on the back of the card to ensure that the account has enough funds to cover the amount of the deposit.
    4. The credit card issuer has put a security hold on the card. Call the toll-free number on the back of the card to find out if there is a security hold on the card. Please be sure to let the card issuer know that you are trying to use the card on JetCounsel.com. After you call and verify that the card has not been compromised, the company should remove the security hold.
